First National are experiencing delays in processing new mortgage business.

 

First National currently have a 2 week turnaround for looking at new cases, due to a rush of submissions after they imposed deadlines when withdrawing their products.

 
This situation may become worse as they have more deadlines coming up, however First National assure us that they are working overtime to clear back logs. We will post all cases recorded/next day delivery to ensure that no further delays are incurred.

 
Cases are being marked as received on the day they arrive, however First National are currently not manually looking at the cases for 2 weeks.  This means that deadlines shouldn’t be missed for products, however there is no guarantee that this situation will continue.
